A collaboration between Firefightproduct and First Aid Design, this helmet cover was designed to organize and protect your daily intervention equipment.
It consists of 3 separate compartments:
- One large, padded main compartment, dedicated to the helmet, which protects it from impacts during transport
- Two secondary mesh compartments for storing gloves, balaclava and small equipment, while maintaining good ventilation
- 2 Velcro patches to attach your name and your fire station badge

Why this cover is essential for professional and volunteer firefighters
Between interventions, the station and travel, the helmet and associated equipment are often stored loose in the sports bag or the trunk of the vehicle (at the risk of mixing clean equipment and contaminated equipment after an intervention).
This cover meets a very specific need in the profession:
Separate the dirty from the clean: After an intervention, care must be taken to avoid contaminating the rest of one's equipment or personal vehicle.
Protect the helmet: The padding limits shocks and scratches during transport
Save time in the barracks: everything is organized and identifiable at a glance, gloves and balaclava within easy reach
Customization: The Velcro name and patch patches allow for quick identification, useful in the barracks as well as in multi-team operations.
Why we chose this product
At Firefightshop, we select our products based on feedback from professional and volunteer firefighters in the field. This cover was co-developed with First Aid Design, a partner recognized for its expertise in equipment for emergency services.
It addresses a real gap in the market: most existing helmet covers do not offer this clean/dirty separation, which is essential for hygiene and organizing equipment after use.
